Decided to do a bit of a photo shoot with my prints today. This is Gibbs Island on the shores of Strangford Lough, owned by the National Trust. As I was taking the photographs I could hear the call of the Curlew and five herons stood like statues watching me on the opposite shore. I always see Curlews when I walk here.
I also saw a flock of oystercatchers on the seaweed, not so camouflaged in their black and white. Last time I was here a seal popped his head out of the water to take a look at Bolt (my black labrador).
